To Infinity and Beyond

Jeans, Galore.

Hello everybody! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Today, I'm going to be talking about a problem that I know a lot of you ladies(and gents)can relate to.

So being me, I am a girl with a very short torso, yet really long legs. It is extremely hard for me to find jeans that are long enough for me. Every pair of jeans that I have stop above my ankles (which is a no-no for me) EXCEPT for one pair of jeans from Forever 21. Although I am only 5'7"/5'8", I'm all legs, no body. Another problem I have is that when I do find a pair of jeans, they never fit around my waist. I have hips for days, but my waist goes in. But minus those slight problems, I absolutely love to wear jeans. I just can't get enough of them. Shein.com has such a large selection of jeans and shorts, it's insane. Here is a selection of jeans that I have been peeping and hope to have in my possession someday.

Black jeans are definitely a need in my closet. And because ripped jeans are pretty stylish(to me), I would definitely love to have these.

I absolutely love to wear high waisted jeans. They make my long legs look even longer. The only downside to wearing them is they never stay up on my, once again, smaller waist. I just wish I could find a pair of jeans that will fit everywhere. A girl could only dream.

I am in love with the look of these jeans. The holes aren't overwhelming and they look like they would fit perfectly. There are so many ways you can wear these jeans that you will almost never run out of outfit ideas.

Shorts are always a difficult find for me. Every pair of shorts I've owned fit around my hips but they were quite loose on my waist. I'm not a huge fan of wearing belts, so I want to find a pair of shorts that I wouldn't have to wear a belt with. I think either of these shorts would be perfect for me. Plus they are super cute.

Shein Collage Haul

Hello everyone! As you all know, I am one of the biggest fashion lovers. I am always looking for more sites to buy my clothes from and I'm always looking for new styles. Today, I want to talk about this site that I've been loving for quite some time. www.Shein.com is a site for very affordable and very stylish clothes.

I have always wanted to work with a clothing company to give you all a sense of the items they have and what kind of styles I am into. So today, I am going to give you a collage of outfits that I think would be perfect for each season.

Spring/Summer

Dress ($23.35): I think this dress would be perfect for a day out in the Spring. It is a beautiful black suede dress with a gorgeous embroidered neckline that goes down to the mid-stomach. I'm trying to get into wearing dresses more often and I think this dress would be a perfect option.

Red Buckle Boots ($40.51), Burgundy Studded Boots ($47.72), Suede Burgundy Boots ($36.05): I am a huge lover of ankle boots and these boots are absolutely the cutest. Sadly, I don't have a pair of shoes in this color yet. Suede seems to be a reoccurring material

Dress ($11.99): Spaghetti strap dresses will be perfect for the summertime. The back is low cut and it is nice and flowy. The dress pattern is a bit out there, but it's just what I like.

Black Sandals ($34.33): A pair of black sandals is a staple that should be in every girls closet. It goes with every outfit and they are super cute and simple.

Fall/Winter

Cropped Sweater ($18.88): During this cold season, sweaters are definitely a need in anyone's closet. I personally love to wear sweaters, no matter what the weather is. Now if you live in a place where one day it will feel like summer, then the next day it feels like below 0, then you'll want to be prepared. This sweater is the perfect item to wear because it's a thick, comfy sweater, yet it's cute and cropped.

Leather Trousers ($21.99): Anything leather is a must-have, especially these lovely leather trousers. I think they would look absolutely gorgeous paired with a cute sweater or a simple t-shirt.

Black Chunky Heeled Boots ($35.36): I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of heels like these. They are a staple in any girls closet and very affordable. As you guys know, these are very similar to Jeffery Campbell's, but Shein.com will give you a bang for your buck.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the color burgundy. So you know I just have to buy a pair of cute boots and a cozy sweater to match it. You can pair this sweater with either these burgundy studded boots or those black chunky heels. If you want to add a more lighter tone to your look, you can replace the black leather trousers for a pair of white jeans.

Sweater ($15.99): I am in love with this sweater. It just looks so cozy, soft, and flowy and it won't leave you hot and sweaty because it's not too thick. Grey is one of the colors that I really love to wear and it's very easy to work with.

Ripped White Jeans ($16.82): Who doesn't like to feel risque and daring by wearing white trousers? They are stylish and so easy to pair with. It is an important staple the every person should have or acquire. If your'e not too keen on the ripped jean style, there are plenty of other alternatives (Reg. White Jeans: $16.82)

Grey Boots ($37.77): I'm sure I've said this for just about every item, but these boots are super cute! I have never owned a pair of boots this color and it would be an amazing addition to my wardrobe. They go perfect with the sweater and adds a sense of fluidity to the whole outfit.

As you can see, a lot of these items can be used more than once and I think that's what makes getting dressed fun. Being able to mix and match using less items to create multiple looks. Life Goals

Hello everyone! It's been so long since I wrote a blog post that I think I forgot how to write one. So much has happened since my last post in December. I am settling into the flow of second semester, with a few problems, but I'll explain that later. But before I get into any of that, let me just start off by saying happy FriYAY. I have been waiting for this day ever since the beginning of the week, as does everyone else. The only downside to the weekend is that I have so much work piled up, it's ridiculous. There's no room for fun.

Classes are going fairly well so far, minus one class. I have Theatre, Comp 2, Material and Resources, Design Thinking II, and last and definitely least, studio. As you guys know, studio has always been the root of my stress. But this semester, they seemed to kick it up about 5 billion notches. So many projects with the shortest deadlines. There's no time to do anything and they don't really take in to consideration that we have other classes and other homework. We aren't robots(well most of us) that will do everything perfect, first try. Usually when we are given an assignment, yes it was slightly stressful, but I stuck through it. But today, I hit my breaking point. No matter what I did. this assignment was by far, for me, the hardest. Yet at the same time, it was so simple. No one would help me, nothing was going right. I got so stressed that I just cried. I did. I left the design building and called my mom, which made me feel a lot better. I just needed a break from studio before I really hurt myself, mentally or physically.

My mom emailed me a bunch of websites and videos that would help me out. So moral of this story, my mom is amazing. Since then, I have calmed down. But in the back of my mind, that project is still there.

Now onto a lighter note, I'm doing something very exciting for myself. You guys know how much I love travel. Over my Christmas break, I began to think about moving out of the country sooner than later. I've always wanted to go to school in the U.K. but I never had the opportunity. But this time, I told myself to actually do something for myself. I looked online for schools with Interior Design and I found 2 schools that I really liked; Leeds Becket University and Kingston University. I became absolutely obsessed with looking up these schools and looking at requirements. Kingston is the school that I am putting my hopes and dreams into. It's located in Kingston Upon Thames in London, a city that you know I love. Something I took upon myself was to email the actual design professor and tell him how much I loved the area and the school and he actually replied to me! He told me he appreciated my ambition and he directly referred me to the design admissions adviser. I filled out the application and I submitted it last night. It felt really good to finally submit it and the waiting process is so nerve wracking.

While I wait for them to process my application, I have until September to raise enough money to live and survive in England. I've made a savings account as an easier way to save money and I've been slowly putting money into it. But me alone, I won't be able to raise all the money without the help of my family and you guys. I made a gofundme account, www.gofundme.com/kingstonuni , to help aid the moving process and school. Its been almost a month and I have yet to raise any money, but I won't lose hope just yet. I set the goal at $30,000 just to have enough to fall back on, and I think with the help of all of you, I know I can achieve and raise even more than the set goal.
